VirusPro® VP SFM, ADCF, Powder with Phenol Red and L-Glutamine

VirusPro™ VP SFM is a serum free, animal derived component free and protein free medium that contains plant proteolytic substances. It is widely used for the adherent culturing of various mammalian cells. It does not need the addition of protein components, nor need the pretreatment of culture plate surfaces. VirusPro™ VP SFM is mainly applied in the amplification of viruses and the production of vaccines. Its culturing ability is equal and beyond the traditional media, and it minimizes the risk of introducing exogenous virus to its extent.
Compared to other serum-free media, the most remarkable trait of the VirusPro™ VP SFM is its versatility, as it could culture a wide variety of renal epithelial cell lines and improve the titer of proliferating viruses. It is suitable for the growth of VERO, MDCK, Marc 145, ST, PK-15, MDBK, HEp2 and BHK-21cells. It could also be used to culture COS-7 and Hela cell lines.
We recommend that, during the production of vaccines, 1~ 2% serum can be added for culturing cells, except for Vero cells, which does not need serum for culturing.
The product is prepared using water-for-injection.
