Sodium Pyruvate is usually used as an energy supplement that is added to culturing media other than glucose. Since sodium pyruvate is only an intermediate metabolites during glycolytic pathway, therefore, it is not a necessary cell culturing supplement. However, it is recommended to use media supplemented with sodium pyruvate if it is already present in the media to avoid extending lag time.
The product is prepared using water-for-injection.
This product is only used for scientific research and production, tissue and cell culture in vitro. It is prohibited for clinical use.
