Product Description

RPMI 1640培养基是根据研发地点（Roswell Park Memorial Institute）命名的，它是McCoy's 5A培养基的改进型。RPMI 1640培养基最初用于人白血病细胞的悬浮培养或单层培养。后来发现这种培养基也适用于培养HeLa, Jurkat, MCF-7, PC12, 外周血单核细胞（B及T淋巴细胞），星形细胞和癌细胞。

RPMI 1640 培养基与其它培养基的区别是含有还原型谷胱甘肽和高浓度维生素。RPMI 1640 培养基含有 EMEM 以及 DMEM 中不含的生物素、维生素 B12 和对氨基苯甲酸，以及高浓度的肌醇和氯化胆碱。

源培生物可提供一系列基于标准配方进行修改的RPMI1640培养基以满足不同的细胞培养需要（请参考每一种产品的产品配方表）。

本产品使用注射用水（Water-For-Injection）配制。
