本产品是在 Dulbecco's 磷酸盐缓冲液 (DPBS) 添加了浓度为 55 mM 的 2-巯基乙醇。

2-巯基乙醇（β-巯基乙醇）是一种重要的有机化合物，分子式为C2H6OS，分子量78.13，为无色挥发性液体，具有较强烈的刺激性气味。它在细胞培养中具有多种生物学功能。

2-巯基乙醇在细胞培养中的作用：

抗氧化作用：2-巯基乙醇作为强还原剂，能够中和细胞培养过程中产生的活性氧（ROS），维持细胞内蛋白质的巯基还原态，保护细胞免受氧化损伤，从而提高细胞存活率和增殖能力。

促进细胞增殖：2-巯基乙醇是一种多克隆非特异性细胞激活剂，能够非特异性地刺激活化多克隆细胞，诱导细胞增殖。其原理是通过诱导被刺激的靶细胞膜及胞浆蛋白合成，提高胱氨酸的利用率。

维持代谢平衡：2-巯基乙醇能使血清中含硫化合物还原成谷胱甘肽（GSH），提高GSH的产生，避免过氧化物对培养细胞的损害，防止静止期或增殖期细胞的GSH减少。

本产品使用注射用水（Water-For-Injection）配置。

本产品供科学研究和生产使用，用于组织和细胞的体外培养。
